It's true, certainly if we genuinely want to live authentic, Spirit-filled lives for Him. Most times, if we are honest, we sit on the threshold of His power and strength in our lives, wanting all the benefits of His care but failing to relinquish over to Him on a daily basis all that really matters. Praise God that His compassions never fail and that they are new every morning, ready to save...mostly to save us from ourselves. Sigh.
